Music In Our Schools Month
March 2025
Dear Music Educator,
We are ready to schedule our yearly performances at the Oakdale Mall in March 2025. I am so excited that we get to continue to bring music into the community!
Please use the link below to choose your date(s) and time(s). I am asking for 3 choices to accommodate everyone. It will be done on a first come, first served basis. The form will close at the end of the day, December 20, no exceptions. Remember that you will need to provide proof of insurance in order to perform. That will be due Feb 1, 2025, once the schedule is made and sent out. I will contact you with your date and a reminder about the insurance.
Remember:
Performance is in front of JC Penney’s
Chairs and music stands are provided - You might want to bring some of your own. The mall could not give me a number of music stands available.
A piano will be provided
Please visually identify your group
There are no risers provided for singing groups
Play only in your allotted time. The mall requires breaks between groups.
YOUR GROUP is responsible for setting up AND taking down all chairs and music stands used. Please clean up after yourself!
Keep the fire exits clear
We can no longer enter from the alley between JC Penney and Dick’s. You must enter via the main entrance on the west side of the building (near the old Ruby Tuesday’s).
All students must be supervised by adults while in the mall. Please be aware that we are not only representing BCMEA but your home districts. Please do not allow your students to run around the mall.
Deadline to Sign-Up 3:00pm December 20, 2024
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Please use the Google Form provided to choose your dates. You will need to select an answer for each date - there is a “none” option if you are not interested in that date. Remember that you have until 3:00pm on December 20 to have the form completed! Schedule will be completed on or about Jan 1.
Thank you so much!
